Opalescence Meyer Lemon and Gin Drink recipe

by Thad Vogler of Bar Agricole

  • 1.5 oz of a nice floral gin with plenty of citrus rind (Beefeater, Tanqueray Ten are good)
  • .75 oz meyer lemon juice
  • .5 oz raspberry syrup (Thad recommends Small Hands Foods organic raspberry syrup)
  • 1 dash of cream (very light dash)
  • 1 mint leaf

Shake well and strain through a fine strainer into a chilled cocktail glass

Opalescence is a drink originally found in the book Cocktail Boothby’s American Barbook. This most famous San Francisco bar book was originally published in 1891. It will be on Bar Agricole’s opening menu in May.
