Helleborus is a late-winter / early-spring flowering member of the buttercup family. These long-lived ornamental perennials add color to the garden for several months in winter and spring; they’re also appreciated for their attractive foliage. The beautiful, long lasting blooms range from green-white to rosy pink to red in single and double forms. Mature Helleborus plants can form clumps that are 18” to 24” tall and 24” to 30” wide. Mature plants often have 50 or more flowers per plant! These plants are self-maintaining and well adapted to dry shade.
