2013 Roses arrive this week!
We’ve chosen a beautiful new crop of AARS winners for Bay Area Gardens. AARS (All-America Rose Selections) runs the world’s most challenging horticultural testing program to recognize roses that are easy to grow and require minimal care. To be chosen as an AARS winner, roses need to thrive during two years of comprehensive testing in 23 gardens nationwide. Look for the AARS red-rose seal at most Sloat Garden Center locations starting the week of December 17th. (Roses will not be available at our Pierce Street location).
