Sloat Garden Center has Northern California's most extensive collection of garden pottery – we are known throughout the Bay Area for our unique shapes, colors and styles.
The latest additions to our collection come from a family of Malaysian potters that we encountered more than twenty years ago in the town of Ipoh. The Ow family has been producing pottery for three generations and was the first producer of garden pottery in Malaysia. Over the years we have worked closely together to tailor colors, design and sizes to fit the needs of Sloat gardeners.
When we first started purchasing this family’s pottery, all that was available was a very rustic salt glazed pot (pottery rubbed with salt and then fired). Over the years the colors and styles available have developed into a wide selection. Stop in and take a look!
